Mindy & Josh Wedding Highlight Video | Riverview Barn, Sioux Falls, SD
Hannah said it best, Mindy and Josh both continued to pursue God through the years leading up to their first meeting and throughout all of their dating days. This led to the pursuit of each other and the beginning of a lifetime together in marriage. It was such an honor to film Mindy and Josh’s special day. Since Mindy is one of my longest and closest friends, this was my favorite video to edit so far. Mindy and I have watched plenty of chick flicks together and in our childhood would talk about someday finding our future husbands. To see Mindy find the perfect partner in Josh and to watch their day come together into such a magical celebration truly brought me joy. Their pastor so perfectly weaved together the story of how Mindy and Josh’s faith in God led them to this special day together. The first kiss jumps between a few of my camera angles. This offers a cool look at how happy the Best Man and Matron of Honor were for Mindy and Josh when they were officially announced as a married couple. The Best Man and Matron of Honor speeches continued to share the admiration they have for these two incredible people. As a close friend of Mindy, I completely agree with the part of Hannah’s speech that describes her character. I also really enjoyed being a part of Mindy’s first look with her dad, Dave. I am sure he could have done without three cameras documenting the moment, but every time I watch it, I can feel the pride and love in that moment. In fact, I am pretty sure one of my microphones picked up on Mindy and Dave’s hearts beating as they hugged. It was really fun to use this as an opportunity to get to know Josh even better as well. From watching him interact with his family and friends to hearing the words he wrote in his letter to Mindy, to simply witnessing his enthusiasm and excitement for the day, I was given even more confidence that Mindy is in good hands! One more highlight of the experience was going along with Mindy and Josh to capture a few shots at Falls Park, a location of one of their first dates and of course a favorite spot for them to visit every winter! Finally, I enjoyed the chance to work alongside Teresa Blankers as she captured photos throughout the day. I also am so thankful @DewyFilms agreed to offer his talents as a second shooter for me. It was such a privilege to film at the gorgeous Riverview Barn and I hope to be able to come back again.
